Hello. I'm having issue with fonts after export. Everything looks fine in the preview but when I export and pull the doc up in my ePub reader, the fonts are all jumbled. I can't figure out why! Can anyone help, please?

What do you mean with fonts are jumbled? Screenshoot?

The font is Futura ... in inDesign.

Typekit fonts are licensed for ePubs, your other fonts might not be.

If that's an old TrueType font it might not work. Stick to OpenType fonts for FXL EPUB.
And while I'm a firm believer in using styles, it would have zero effect here. Reflowable is another story.

Which version of InDesign and OS?
Presumably you're exporting as an ePub – is it a FXL ePub or Reflowable Text ePub?
Which readers and devices have you tried it on?
Has all the text have Paragraph (and Character) Styles applied?
What does it state when you use the IDPF Validator on it EPUB Validator (beta) ?

I'm using inDesign CC 2017.
Exporting as ePUB fixed layout.
I've tried it in iBooks on my desktop and Gitden reader on my android.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by applying text/character style. Could
you please clarify?
I'm somewhat new to inDesign and not familiar with IDPF Validator.

Before you go any further I suggest you take this online video tutorial (you can get a 30-day free trial): InDesign: Creating Fixed-Layout EPUBs
There is an ePub forum: InDesign EPUB

If you don't understand this you need to undertake a basic InDesign course before you go any further. Lynda.com as mentioned earlier has good videos on this as well such as: InDesign CC 2017 Essential Training
