Hi akhiln,

Could you please let me know the version of Acrobat Reader installed on your Android?

To check the version, launch Reader>tap 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen>Help.

Tap three vertical dots again and select About Adobe Acrobat

Also, try to read other pdf file and see if this behavior still continues.

And this issue is not for only this pdf. Issue persists in all the pdfs I open in Continous mode. Please check!

How long will it take?

It's August 2017, and I still see this bug.

I cannot read

Think Python 2e – Green Tea Press

in reading mode because the word "first" is rendered as "rst" every single time.

Hi Ttamo,

We have tried to replicate the issue at our end and the text with "Fi" appears correctly.

As you are still experiencing the issue with "Fi" text in Reading Mode, could you please share the Adobe Acrobat Reader version installed on your device.

Please make sure that the application is updated to the latest patch released.

Also, let us know the OS version on your Android device.

We will be waiting for your response.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi Arendijus,

I have checked the file that you have shared above.

It opens fine without any issue on our end.

Check the screenshot below.

WhatsApp Image 2018-09-25 at 11.59.52 AM.jpeg

Could you please try updating the OS version on the device?

Or check on another device with latest OS version.

We have tried to replicate the issue on Android 8.1.

Please check once and let us know if you experience the issue on the latest version as well.

Regards,

Meenakshi
