Problem during importation

Hey,

I wanted to import pictures, but I have this message "Can not perform this operation in the reason for the analysis of the jpeg data" (translated in french...)

It's the same message in Photoshop or Photoshop elements, try few pictures.

Any solutions ? Thanks

Extensions should be turned on in Windows.  Here's how: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/show-file-extensions-in-windows

That way you know whether Image is really Image.jpg  A wrong or missing extension can cause these problems.

But your error seems to be a "parse" error. Photoshop cannot read it as a jpeg. Might be a bit of file corruption going on.

Let's try this:

Open the file that doesn't work in the standard windows picture viewer, rotate the image, close, rotate back and close again.This should r

Then see if it opens.

Also make good use of Windows 10 File History to preserve backups of your files. If a file gets damaged and you do not have copies anywhere else, your work is gone.
