Installing previous versions: how far back?

In the Adobe Creative Cloud app, you can install old versions. Is there a limit as to how far back you can go? Currently, I believe it is CS6 (For InDesign)

CC2017 is currently the shipping version, and when the next version ships, will Adobe remove CS6 or CC? Is there a policy statement on this?

There's no policy that I'm aware of.

Cloud previous versions go back to CS6. For Lightroom, it's 5.7.1.
