How to reduce amount of locally saved pictures to synced collections only in LR mobile?

In Lightroom mobile, why is the amount of pictures in the section «Lightroom Photos» much bigger than the total of all pictures in synced collections? And how can I limit the amount of pictures saved on my mobile devises to the pictures in the synced collections only?

Could all the other photos in 'Lightroom Photos' be taken with the LrM's Camera or be imported into LrM from the Camera Roll?
