2D photograph projection to 3D .obj

Good morning,

I am looking to project a 2D photograph onto a 3d .obj model (bas relief) and would very much welcome any hints on a potential workflow for this using photoshop 2017.

Thank you, sorry it took so long to see your reply! I found a way to project an image onto a complex irregular model, sadly it was not a Adobe solution, would have been good to work with Adobe again.
