Hi

I have recently had to replace my motherboard and processor (i7)

This did cause activation issues with windows 10 (now solved)

I am wondering if any issues with adobe cc had been observed as I am having font problems in photoshop.

I wonder if a clean install of all adobe cc is necessary.

Any info would be helpful

Thanks

John

Hi

I have now sorted my problems, thanks for all the advice.

With windows 10 and the new motherboard, all I have to do is reactivate via technical support who were excellent.

I haven't experienced any other issues yet.

The problems I was experiencing with my fonts was due to a windows 10 update - a workaround can be found here:

Problems in Windows 10 Creators Update with Fonts Installed via “Shortcut”!

This solved the problem.

Thanks again

Clean installs are always a smart idea when setting up a new hard drive. The font problem may or may not have anything to do with Photoshop. If you are getting missing font error messages, that just means that previously used fonts aren't installed on the new drive.

I have not set up a new hard drive or changed my graphics card only the motherboard and processor were changed.

I'd be interested in how Windows reacted to a new motherboard?  If you just used the same hard drive without reinstalling Windows, I'm thinking it might be enough difference for Windows to think it was a new computer, and that you possibly should be using a newly purchased copy of Windows.

Did you already have DDR4 memory?

Maybe you updated the GPU or its driver. Big thing.
