Text issues in illustrator

I am trying to make a logo in Illustrator, but the every font I use seems off. There are white lines appearing in the font. However, when I export it, the lines are smooth and the fonts look good. This is what it looks like inside Illustrator:

So I am thinking this is probably some preference setting, but I wouldn't know what to change

View > Preview on CPU

Try updating your graphics card driver

SInce at ths point Illustrator, the system, the graphics card and its driver interact with each other, issues might come and go when any of the components is updated.
