The transparant parts of an image have a grey and white blocks pattern. Did you delete the background of the image?

Unfortunately, You can't tell right now. This request to allow Bridge to show transparency on file thumbnails has been submitted to Adobe. Not sure if they will act on it, but there are a lot of people urging Adobe to proceed with this request.

You mean I could tell by using  Bridge?

From Photoshop, some image has Black  Background and some images doesn't.

Do you know why?

No, you can't use Bridge at this point. We're trying to get Adobe to make it so you can. I'm not sure why you're seeing different bg colors. Normally you will see white, in Bridge or a browser if there is transparency.

Make sure "Show Transparency Grid" is checked on in Bridge Preferences, and you will see the familiar transparency checkerboard in Bridge's thumbnails and Previews. As mentioned before, only SVG and PNG file transparency. TIFF, PSD, etc... not yet.

Hi,

Only if you are saving files as PNG-24 while you kept the foreground color as black, it will show you black in preview.    (see the following image please. I did with a screenshot image)
