My computer crashed and I had to reinstall Windows.  I'm now trying to reinstall my Photoshop CS version 8.  but it's asking for verification of a previous version which I no longer have.  What can I do?

The activation servers for CS/8 have closed. Adobe is providing you with a replacement copy of CS2 and a new serial number for it.

Uninstall CS and install CS2. You can dispose of the old copy. It can't be activated.

Get it here at Download Adobe Acrobat 7 and Adobe Creative Suite 2 products
