Hi Woifep,

As per the description above, you are getting an error message "Installation problem: IMSLib not found .." Is that correct?

Please check for any pending updates from Help>Check for updates.

You may also try to repair the installation file from Help>Repair installation.

If the issue still persists, please uninstall the Acrobat Pro DC using Adobe Cleaner tool: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Restart your computer and then reinstall the Acrobat Pro DC:  Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, 2017, XI, or X

Hope this helps, and keep us posted with the results.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

The Cleaner Tool is for stand-alone installations.  I have CC, with other applications.  What do I do to fix that?

Hello Nicguy,

The Cleaner tool (For Windows machine only) can be used to uninstall the Acrobat which is installed through the Creative Cloud Desktop app.

If you want, you can uninstall the Acrobat from the CC desktop app as well.

Uninstall, reboot the machine and install the Acrobat back standalone from Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, 2017, XI, or X Link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html

Or from the CC desktop app.

Hope this helps, and let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Anand Sri.
