I use a lot of image files via DHTML. How can I find and delete unused image files in a RoboHelp project?

Hi there

RoboHelp has a report you can run that may help. It's called unused files. In older versions it is on the Tools > Reports menu. In newer versions it's on the Tools tab.

Note that before I would just wholesale delete anything I would move the files to a temporary folder just to be on the safe side.

Hi,

Regarding this, I have run the report and have 72 pages of unused files. Versus individually locating and deleting each file, is there a way of deleting all?

This would really help!

I will await your advice.

Thanks,

Sharyn

Not really but this script will help with the images. Maybe it can be

adapted for other file types.

Backup before you start.

I have to say 72 pages seems unlikely. Are you sure they are unused?
