Hi everyone,

I recently encountered this issue while trying to open some PDF files: Impossible to extract the incorporated fonts: FAAABC+ArialNarrow-Bold.

When looking into the Fonts Book, I can see that the font is available:

Here's the info for the font:

I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2017.012.20098.

The OS is macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6

The software is up to date as well as the OS.

The error is showing up on multiple computers, all MAC so far.

I have seen the fix for Microsoft Windows but didn't find anything for macOS.

Anyone have an idea about this?

Hi Comms_JPL,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As you have mentioned above, you get the error message "Cannot extract the font".

It seems that the file is not created using the Adobe Acrobat application.

Could you please let us know how this PDF is created?

Can you share the file with us, so we can check it on our end?

If yes, please refer the steps provided here How to share a document

Let us know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Meenakshi
