Copy/paste in to any other program, InDesign crashes

Hi

When copying a number (12344) from InDesign CC 2015 in to any other program with paste (tried with Excel, Notepad, Word) the Indesign crashes.

Tried with text, this works.

W8.1, Office 2013, Adobe CC2015 InDesign

Have you tried restoring InDesign preferences? I'd suggest that:

Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences

The other possibility is that the file you're copying from is corrupted. Try this:

Clean corrupt files by exporting to .IDML or .INX
