Hello,

I am having lines appear as I scroll over images in overprint preview. I'm using a MacBook Pro 15" with os Sierra 10.12.6. The document sticks for a minute when I try to scroll, and then makes these glitchy lines on the images at different intervals along where the top of the page had overlapped before. What to do?

Try toggling off the GPU Preview under the View menu.

In that case, it doesn't seem to be a GPU issue.

Do the images look OK if opened in Photoshop?

Hi Antonia,

Did you check the images in Photoshop, as suggested by Steve? What is the exact version of Illustrator used? What is the screen resolution?

Regards,

Om

An update here - after checking hardware and my iOS and lots of troubleshooting (including trying things above) we made headway today ----

This problem only happens when I scroll on the trackpad. It DID happen on three different MacBook laptops, including a new Touchbar. So now I'm using a workaround of using my mouse, but it's a real bummer since I would like to use the trackpad.
