Free transform

When I'm using the free transform tool, together with command key (distort) it automatically start with -0,5.
The problem is that I want to make smaller changes, so I want it to start wit -0,1 or so.
In the upper bar I can typ 0,1 if I want, but I know it is also possible just to pull the free transform and make smaller adjustments.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?
I hope this explanation is clear enough to understand what I mean.

For smaller changes, you may hold Command key, then as you start moving the mouse hold Ctrl key too. Try it and let us know if it worked out for you.
