Adobe Adobe Adobe. I use adobe 9 pro and DC.

How come you still lack the feature "drop down calendar/pop up calendar". This is the most basic feature and should be a standard function. Really really bad

How come you lack recent updates? Very risky. This was recently added to Acrobat Pro DC and Reader DC. Not 9 of course.

With "Reader DC", do you mean the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC? If so, how do I find this function?

In Adobe Acrobat create a text field with date format and you will get the popup calendar in Acrobat Reader DC.

Acrobat Pro DC (2017 release or subscription version) can add a calendar pull down. If Reader DC is up to date it works (on Mac and Windows). That's all there is to it. Of course it can't be made in Acrobat Pro 9 Or seen in old versions of Reader either.

Hmm, so am I mistaken - could this be done even by someone who hasn't upgraded Acrobat Pro?

Yes, the calendar icon in Acrobat DC adds only a text field with date format.

Ah, Ok, so there is a new UI feature in DC, but you can get the same effect even with old versions. Thanks. Unusually generous of Adobe.

There are a couple of users that have provided either JavaScript to an AcroDialog to provide a pop-up calendar for older versions of Acrobat and Reader. You will have to add this code to your forms.
