After effects CC 2017 is not working

Whenever i start up after effects a tab pops up and says after effects is not working and that windows is checking for the problem, then another tab pop up and says a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. I have restarted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled after effects but it still does not work. This is all on windows 10, I think its a problem with windows thinking it is a virus but if it is i don't know how to fix it. If anyone knows the problems please help!

You have not provided any useful information. Your post is generic and vague when exact system information adn possibly crash logs are required.

I deleted every file relating to ae and then uninstalled it and reinstalled it, including my plugins which in  hindsight were probably the problem
