Is there a way to be notified if a path art is moved/modified in any way?

Hi All!

I am working on a plugin for AI CC 2017.

I have a requirement where I need the plugin to be notified if the user has moved or modified path arts in the document.

I tried the following notifiers,

kAIArtPropertiesChangedNotifier

kAIAlignmentKeyArtChangedNotifier

The above do get notified when an art is moved or modified, but I get notified if I make a selection.

Even if I get notified, I'll have to run a check whether the art in question is in fact a path art.

Is there a cleaner way to go about this?

Nope, that's your toolset. You've correctly identified the problems

They may improve that in the future, but for CC2017 and earlier at least, there's no other method.
