Hi,

This will be in actions. I want to collapse a group, or maybe all groups. Only collapse - if current group already collapsed, will do nothing.

Any idea?

I have not found a way to collapse an layer group that exists and is expanded in an action.  There is not shortcut or menu item for collapsing a target group and collapsing a group while recording an action does not record anything into the action.  You can target several layer in an action and create a layer group from the selected layers and the group will be created collapsed. I found  al link to a script that can buliarca's scripts BCM Tools

Wow, so powerful. Especially those scripts about invisible layers are really handy in actions. Thanks again.

Yes Actions have a problem with selecting layers relatively forward backwards front and back for  only visible layers are selected by Photoshop. If an action turn off a layers visibility the targets other layers it can not select the layer with its visibility off except by name. Scripts can target any layer using the correct logic.
