Why do photos that were licenced open up small when I put them on adobe premiere?

Do they need extended licence? If I get it will it open up and magnify without distortion or pixilation?

You may find some good information here: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/importing-still-images.html

But to answer your question about the extended license ... no, the licenseing level will not make any difference.
