I have recently subscribed to Photoshop but there are old versions PS6 of llustrator, Photoshop, Indesign on my Apple which haven't deleted and are slowing my machine. How can I delete these without having to reinstall the whole system?

This would not work for me (on my MacBookPro) because the uninstall process stops and tells me to close Photoshop (which I can do) and SafariBookmarksS and SafariCloudHisto (which I cannot find)
You can use the Mac's Activity Monitor app to stop those other processes:
Use Activity Monitor on your Mac - Apple Support

Hi Christine,
Are you on Windows or Mac? The process is slightly different. However, you should be able to uninstall the CS6 versions independently of the newer CC versions.
For Windows 10: Go to Start, Settings, Apps, and under Apps & Features you should find them listed. Select from the list, and choose Uninstall.
For Mac, you can go to your Applications in Finder, choose the application to uninstall, and run the "Uninstall..." item in the folder.
