Syncing

Clicked on Sync in photoshop cc just out of curiosity and now it wont stop. The blue wheel just keeps going and I get the message 'Syncing cc files , please wait'. How do I get rid of it ?

If you mean sync setting make sure your signed in and connected to the Internet.  That feature was add in CC and removed in CC 2015. I believe Libraries a sync automatically not sure I do not use them.

I would think there should be some sort of a timeout If sync cannot connect you could also try ESC to see it that break sync.

Hi JJMack, thank you for the response, I tried hitting Esc and that worked but the problem returned when I launched Photoshop again. I'm very much a tyro at computing and only use Photoshop to adjust my images before saving them to an external harddrive. I never use the Organizer or Libraries and don't actually know what is being synced.
