I am using Photoshop CS6Extended. I am trying to use an action that requires a transparent .png file to be placed in it.

Photoshop will not let me place the file. I keep getting this message: “Could not place the document ‘texture png’ because the file could not be found.

I am able to use the foile in other programs, including Adobe Elements, but not in CS^.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just to narrow it down a bit:

a. Can you open the file in Photoshop with File > Open?

b. Can you place the file manually (outside of an action)?

If the answer to either of the above is no - please post a link to the file

Hi,

Thank you.

No I cannot open the file with File>open.

No I cannot place the file either.

I do not know how to place a link to the file. I’ll try to attach it here.
