I'm editing photos and after sometime suddenly the psd file got a square on the photo and I can edit it. HELP!
Only happens sometimes.. I have tried to turn go Graphic Accelleratior and changed to basic and restart something. I can see the psd file thumb print ok in MAC finder.

Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" in Adobe Camera Raw.

Hi Thanks for your help I have done that both on Camera Raw and the performance restarted and opened the psd same thing, it didn't work.
This has happened on my Toshiba on my licensed version, I have also tried by installing the trail version on a MacBook Pro, I was editing for an hour or so and it happened on the MacBook too!!!

No it didnt, I tried reset preferences on quit same problem when I open the psd file...

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

I don't believe your problem is in Photoshop itself. Going by your screenshot it seems you only have the one layer so what you see is what you get. Looks like you are completely missing those pixels and the transparent background is showing through. I'm afraid there is nothing you can do with it.
Unless is it different every time you open it? What if you open other images?
