Default viewing colors for .pdf files

All opened .pdf files now open to a default white on black text.  While this is fine for many documents and makes them easier to read for normal black/white text other color text is nearly impossible to read with the black background.  How can I change this either temporarily or as a default?

My guess is it's defined under Edit - Preferences - Accessibility. If so, then you can disable/change it there.
