I just installed photoshop on my new computer at the school that I work at. I also downloaded the nik filters but I don't see them in the filter menu like I am used to. I see them in my applications folder but no where to be found otherwise.

If you have a 'Google' folder copy and paste it to the Photoshop plugin folder  probably at 'C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2017\Plug-ins'

I just updated PS and have the same problem. This is very upsetting. I don't understand why they complicate something that I use every single day by deleting it all. HELP!!!

The new "official" folder for storing the PS plugins is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC

Other users have had luck by resetting the preferences in Photoshop after installing NIK.

However, don't expect the NIK filters to remain working in the future. It is dead software, unfortunately.

Not sure why you guys are having so much trouble. I don't use a lot of third party filters just Nik, Imagenomic and Topaz , but they all work fine in Photoshop 2018 on Windows 10.
