Is there a way to choose a base folder to import from and pull in all photos under it?  It appears to be only able to choose one photo at a time.  This version is going to go through the same growing pains as Final Cut X did when Apple rewrote it.  It will takes years to get anywhere near feature parity with the old version.

Yes, when you click Add Photos, in the OS dialog you can then select the parent folder instead of drilling down to a photo. I did 60k at once, so more than 1 at a time is fine.
