New Lightroom and sidecar xml

Hello.

So, does the new Lightroom have an option to create a xmp file? If so, where? I can't seem to find out.

Only when saving as original format.

I think I got the "When saving as original format". But I was wondering if is there a way to make it work like the Classic where when you changed something that change would automatically added to the xmp file. Because editing dozens of photos and then having to save every one of them just to have to xmp file is kinda of annoying and very error prone. Or, with the new paradigm there is no need to have a external file in case everything else fails?

No, you can't automatically write to xmp, but with the new paradigm, you shouldn't need to.
