Performance issues with Photoshop CC 2018?

I use the SPOT HEALING BRUSH TOOL to clean up images early in the editing process.

With a high end Core i7 processor, tons of memory, GTX980 and SSD boot/data drives - this process is normally 'instantaneous'.

With the latest install, you clean up some issues and then W.. A.. I.. T.. for the change to happen.

  • Anyone else have this?
  • Is it an Adobe memory management issue?
  • Is it a short term BUG that will be fixed with the next update?

Hello, since updating to PS 19.0 I'm having issues with memory warnings even though I have 40GB RAM and never experienced a memory warning until now.

My version of PS is 19.0 - there is no above-mentioned 19.0.1 update available. Where can I find 19.0.1 please?

Thanks
