Apply Presets on import or on many images

Hi,

I am considering to switch from LR6 to the new LR CC.

Compared to LR Classic CC the new LR CC is much simpler and has less features but is much faster.

So far this is acceptable for me because I really like to use LR on my mobile device.

I was not able to find a way to apply presets during import but even this is for me not a show stopper.

But is there really no way to apply a preset to many images?

This feels like when Apple tried to "REMAKE Final Cut"... this is awful release that has moved backwards in features - Can not believe you can not batch and sync presets and edits across multiple files.
