Why is it I opened Lightroom CC for the first time and it automatically added a bunch of photos and started uploading them to the cloud. I don't want those photos in my lightroom catalog. This is already ticking me off and I just opened it for the first time. I should be able to open the program and then select what I want in my catalog. Am I missing something here.
Those are likely to be photos you uploaded to the cloud from Lightroom CC 2015, Lightroom Classic or one of the mobile apps.

I did not have that problem but also uploaded Lightroom cc for the first time on laptop today and it also just did a number of automatic random actions: duplicates of various photos (unwanted) where one example is pixellated (but only obvious to the eye if you have good eyesight). it also just "chose" any human heads present in photos (both from more portrait styles and random people in the background) and created square size photos of these random "heads", taking up more storage and totally unnecessary. anyone else have this issue?
