Lightroom CC doesn't allow external Network HD on my Apple Router as Classic Did?

Hello,

I just finished migrating my photo into LR CC.   I want to set my local storage location to an external 5TB drive that is connected to my Apple Router.   I have been using it this way for years with Lightroom classic.   Is there a way to do this with LR CC.   I had it set up this way with Classic for nearly 5 years.
