Drone video is showing some artefact, which appears as "swimming" texture of the roof. What causes that and what can be done to solve it? I use mostly AE. Example can be seen at the following link.

There is nothing to be done. Nothing simple, anyway. These are simple aliasing artifacts caused by the low camera resolution vs. the bad MPEG compression, including rolling shutter. To remove them, you would have to replace the roof entirely by employing elaborate tracking procedures and finding a suitable replacement texture.

You could try reshooting when the roof is in shadow, wait for snow, try different angles or get a better camera.

Yes great. If I was the one shooting, I might do one or the other (just got the snow today ), but unfortunately that's not the case. I was hoping there was a way to reduce the effect, but no such luck this time...
