Hi, I recently had my hard drive replaced and had to have Photoshop CS2 reinstalled online. Looks fine and jpegs are fine but I cannot see RAW files in Bridge nor can I open them as I get an error message of "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document". I am using a Canon EOS 5D so it is not a new camera that the software does not recognize. I called Adobe but they do not support CS2 anymore. Thanks in advance for any advice.
Open CS2 and go Help > About plugin > Camera RAW and see what version you have. CS2 supports ACR 3, which should be OK for the original 5D.
Cameras supported by Camera Raw
So make sure you have all available updates. I am not sure how you go about that with CS2 because you now have to use the special version because the original servers are no longer working.
Update Windows
Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows
Update Mac
Adobe - Photoshop : For Macintosh
Good luck

Do you know which update I should download? The latest RAW?

Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows : Camera Raw 3.7 update
is the latest for CS2. I know you are running Windows, because Intel Macs do not support CS2.
That only covers the first model. If you have the Mark II onward, let us know, because you will need the dng converter.
