I bought a CS3 some years ago and it worked fine, but now I would reinstall it on an old WinXP.
I can open the program Photoshop, but not image files. I can open and work in Illustrator without problems.
Windows writes that an error has occured why the program closes.
I have the DVDs and serial number.

Sorry, did not solve my problem.

Windows writes: Error signature:

AppName: photoshop.exe     AppVer: 10.0.0.0      ModName: photoshop.exe

ModVer: 10.0.0.0      Offset: 0050c592

And it's regardless of whether I open an existing image file or create a new image file.

Hello John.
Thank you so much for the answer. I have now installed CS3 on my Windows 10 computer and can with a good conscience discard the old XP computer.
