ppi/scale of a document for big scale projects

Hi all,

I would like to design a theme for a linen/bedding, blanket etc. I have some raster images (png, 300 ppi) that would be used for themes. As there will be a few different sizes of the linen, with different variations of the theme I would like to have them all in one file. As the maximum Photoshop board is 250x250 cm I cannot fit the linens in 1:1. If I go for 1:10 scale, should I increase the document ppi to 3000?

Is there any other, better way to do it? (this doesn't work well on my laptop)

The best thing to do is contact the printer that will be printing the linen/bedding, and ask them what you need to supply to them.

E.g. resolution, physical WxH, and file types, and colour mode they accept. Some might just ask you to supply a repeating pattern, and they'll do the rest (e.g. no need to provide a full size file). The resolution requirement is generally lower then for offset printing as far as I'm aware. But again, ask the printer.
