I have a MacBook Pro and the Applications storage is getting full. After I downloaded the new Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 with 2.17 GB's, I noticed the older CC 2017 version is still in the Applications with it's own 1.98 GB's
Does anyone know what would happen if i deleted the 2017 version? CC 2018 works perfectly, I like it. But also am getting a bit crowded.
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
By default it is suppose to uninstall Photoshop, before installing the latest version. There is a check box in the manager to alter that option.
You can have both versions installed on your system, if you choose. As each are installed in their own folder.
Just to the right of the open button in the manger is a downward arrow you can click on to uninstall Photoshop.

I like to use the latest version for a few weeks to be sure I'm not running into any issues, then move the old version to the trash. Then empty the trash.

Can we download from other websites, not from Adobe official website? As they require an account. Did they work properly or not?

If you do, plan to get all kinds of virus, spyware, malware, etc.
