I have a Windows 10 machine - 16 GB RAM and an i7
User will have a PDF up in the left monitor and using any one of 3 or 4 other programs in the right monitor. She is using the PDF as a reference. At some point the PDF will lock up and she will have to force close Acrobat.
She gets no warnings and, therefore, has no idea if it happen 5 minutes ago or when she went to click on it. It's mostly annoying, but it does prevent her from, say scrolling down and finding more info.
I have info from an error in the application log:

Hi JCHorner,
Sorry for the delay in response.
As you have mentioned above that the user gets the application error window and the Adobe Acrobat DC application freezes after that.
Please try the troubleshooting steps mentioned over here Troubleshoot Windows system errors, freezes | Adobe software
Also, check this document Application unable to Start correctly Error: 0xc0000022 || 0x00000022, if you get the same error message then try the steps mentioned there.
Check if that helps.
Try to update the application to the latest patch released.
To update, launch the application and go to Help menu > Check for updates.
Let us know how it goes.
If you still experience the issue, please let us know.
Regards,
Meenakshi
