Whenever I draw a line with the paintbrush tool it first shows up as multiple vertical lines with some space between them before it converts into the line i actually drew once I stop drawing. The results are the same but it's quite annoying, does anyone know how to fix this?

What it looks like before I release the mouse/stop drawing

Once I release it it turns into this.

Thanks for any help!

That's normal behavior for the Paint Brush tool but I would suggest you don't use the Paint Brush to draw... use the regular Brush tool. The Paint Brush tool is for a different purpose such as cleaning up and the preview lines are there on purpose. You can't get rid of them. You CAN however click the option to Draw as Fill and then the drawing is sped up a lot.

Which device, which OS? Have you tried updating all your drivers? Does your computer meet system requirements specified in Adobe Animate CC system requirements

Thanks,
