Hi,

Im learning about 3D painting and Im hoping I can do this...

Im projecting a bitmap onto the surface of a 3D object by pasting it into a layer and then 'merging down' the bitmap layer onto the 3D layer, all good, but can I keep use blending modes?  At the moment it doesn't and pastes the (Screened) image onto the object as if the blending mode was set to Normal.

Many thanks

Steve

Well, wrong tool. Such stuff requires more advanced 3D painting tools like Mari, Mudbox or 3D paint features in "real" 3D programs. It's not that PS is dumb in the layer department, it's a numb nut in the 3D department. 'nuff said.
