When trying to download the trial for Lightroom cc the error message is

When trying to download the trial for Lightroom cc the message is  "This computer does not meet the minimum system requirements for Lightroom CC. Please refer to the system requirements in the Help documentation for a full list of hardware and software requirements for Lightroom CC."  and yet I have enough space on my macbook air and a 4bg ram I believe ?   Any help welcome

What is your OS version number? Space and RAM is not all!

macOS

• Multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support
• macOS v10.12 (Sierra), Mac OS X v10.11 (El Capitan)
• 4 GB of RAM (8 GB recommended)
• 1 GB of Video RAM (VRAM). 2 GB of dedicated VRAM is suggested for large, high-resolution monitors, such as 4K- and 5K-resolution monitors.
• 10 GB of available hard-disk space (cannot install on a volume that uses a case-sensitive file system or on removable flash storage devices)
• OpenGL 3.3–capable video adapter for GPU-related functionality

Lots of folks that have not kept their operating systems up to date are coming across the same scenario. Your hardware meets the minimum requirements... what version is your OS? It has to be at least 10.11 or greater.
