Gif does not animate when white BG removed

Trying to remove white background from animated gif.

Load in PS CC 2017.

Remove white bg using wand select on each layer.

Gif now plays all 39 images as the first image - does not animate.

The gif plays in sequence 1-39 with the white bg still there.

Why and how do I change to transparent bg successfully?

Answer my own question..

You won't find this step in most tutorials on removing the white background, but you have to repopulate the timeline by selecting each individual window and making the layer visible. Once you move to another timeline window the layer will not longer be visible.
