I‘m following this tutorial and it shows downloading a half tone from their own library, which I did. It seems to me that their halftone is a bmp not a vector. What’s happening here?

Hi JM.

I just tested this and it's working okay for me. Since it's sort of difficult to see the steps in the tutorial, Is this the process you're using?:

* Tap the + icon (above the layer thumbnails)

* Create a new Draw Layer (you can actually do this on an existing Draw Layer but for testing purposes it's easier to separate them).

* Tap the halftone you want to add.

* Once it's on the layer, resize/move it however you want, then double-tap it to "stamp it" the pattern It will stamp with the color

* Tap the X to remove the pattern from the canvas.

* Then switch from your brush to an eraser and erase.

Let me know if that works for you. And if it doesn't let me know where in the steps it seems to fall apart.

So I was describing how this wasn’t working and I decided to try it out. I could not figure out how to put the half tone on the draw layer and I realized that I do that through the Stamp Shapes. I was doing it by adding an inage layer!

thanks!
