Features absent from Adobe Acrobat Standard DC?

Acrobat Reader DC and Acrobat Pro DC contain two features that I appreciated quite a bit; dark theme, and tabs for documents as opposed to new windows.

Why is it that Acrobat Standard DC does not contain these features? I have searched high and low for them, but can't find any information about where they might be. It makes no sense to include features in a the free reader version, exclude them in the Standard DC version, then re include them in the Pro DC version.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks
