Using Lightroom CC on a metered connection

If I use Lightroom CC on a laptop or tablet with a metered internet connection, how can I prevent images I load from being synched automatically? I want to look at/work on the images and synch when an unmetered connection is available.

Click on the cloud icon and pause syncing. Unpause when you are unmetered.

I guess that works! For future updates it would be good if the software recognised the metered connection & reminded me.

Or...allow me to choose the time to update and share photos between devices automatically, I am not awake at 2:00 am to enable sync this or sync that..
