How to get rid of shadows

Hi guys i have this image :

You can see the shadows coming off, i was wondering what would be the best way to get rid of the shadows? If someone can give me like a step by step that would be fantastic or if i can cut out the picture and put it on a whitebackground , i have lots of these 2 do and just want to know the best way around this

Hi

1. Draw a path round the object with the pen tool

2. Make a selection from the path

3. Add a gradient fill - with the selection masked

4. Add a curve to balance the white

Personally I would add a little shadow back in at the base just to blend it

Hi , yes i think that was the problem from the start , stupid mistake by us, but is there any way to edit this and make this better? i got like 100 pictures to edit
