Warning message when importing two word files

I'm using RoboHelp x7 and when I import two word files to the same project the following warning appears:

"Unable to create database. Check that the directory is not read-only"

I've already taken the following precautions:
a) define a project structure with no spaces in its path;
b) define a project structure with a small number of characters on the projects name and in the documents to be imported.

I'm working in the local computer. The files are not imported. Is there any explanation for this?

What is the path to the project?

If the D: drive is a data partition on your hard disk it is worth checking with your IT people that RH has access to this. If you installed RH to your C: drive I suspect it may not.

Thanks for the tip.

But, please mind that the error occurs only when I import more than one document. And I confirmed with IT personnel that there is no restriction in partition D:

Going back to your first post you say "I'm using RoboHelp x7 and when I import two word files."

So the first imports OK and the failure occurs with the second file?

Actually, I choose to import both files simultaneously - and the failure occurs when the process ends. Nothing is imported.

Is it imperative to import one file at a time?

I think Peter was just trying to eliminate causes. Post back with the results you get when you import just one word file. Also if that works, try importing just the second file.
