Why is the text size decreasing when I shrink the page?

Hello, I am creating a menu for a website but this seems to be giving me trouble:

When I shrink the page in the design tab, what I want to happen happens!

This:

Shrinks to this:

And the size of the text is saved!

However, when I go to preview, the text decided to shrink on me:

How can I fix this? Thanks

Not clear about your query!

As per your first I see that the text size was small and grows in second screen shot when you scrub the breakpoint.

Can you share some more visual references like a video or even a reduced version of your Muse page shall help.

Is it possible you used a system font that got converted to images?

Can you publish your site and share the URL with us? Are you viewing your site at 100% in the browser?

Hello. I did end up (sort of) fixing it by messing with the positioning and responsiveness, though it led to the hamburger icon being stuck outside of the browser. Changing from a system font to another font did not help. In the time being I have moved from Muse to Wordpress as it suits my website needs better.
