I bought this back in 2013. When I open it, it immediately says I need to renew a CC agreement.

Here is my Adobe product:

Product NameSerial NumberVersionPlatformRegistration Date
Adobe Photoshop LightroomREMOVED5.0MultipleOctober 14, 2013

What should I do to run it?

[NEVER POST A SERIAL NUMBER IN AN OPEN FORUM !!!]

[You have just given your serial number to everyone who read this message before]

[I deleted the number... or people who receive all their forum messages via email]

[When a Staff person asks for private information hover your mouse over their name]

[you may then click the Message option in the popup window to send a private email]

Updates

  • Download and installation help for Adobe links

  • Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

And a big thank you to Jim @ Prodesigntools for helping me with these links!

Wow!  Thanks and you are the most thoroughly helpful person I've ever encountered here in cyberspace. I'll try all this to the letter.  Probably tomorrow I'll be able to rate this as a Solution, or not.

Trouble in River City! I went through all the steps you recommended, but when I started Lightroom, I got a CC activation window, followed by the one I am pasting here.

For this step-remove your Adobe PCD folder and SLStore folders*, I had neither folder anywhere on my system.

Yes, I had checked that, and found no folders of those names in my library>Application Support>Adobe.

HOWEVER (good news) I used Spotlight to search for 'Creative' and found two folders called Creative Cloud.  I trashed them and then found that I could open LR5 and use it!

On reflection, I think my troubles all stem from getting rid of Lightroom CC without using the Adobe recommended uninstall applications. I frankly didn't know they existed.
